According to Brahmāṇḍapurāṇa (Brahmandapurana), Tuṣita (Tushita) is one of the gaṇas (gana, genus) of the gods in Svārociṣa (Swarochisha) Manvantara. Āya(Aya) is a god belonging to this gaṇa.
