Uttareśvaratīrtha  (Uttareswaratirtha) is one if the famous tīrthas (tirtha; sites of pilgrimage) in Avantīkṣetra (Avantiksetra). Taking a bath in this tīrtha (tirtha), a puṇyārthī (punyarthi; seeker of virtue) redeems all his lineage from sins.
